Email Sending Microsoft Outlook Outage

We are currently experiencing an issue affecting email deliveries to Microsoft-hosted addresses (including Outlook.com, Hotmail.com, Live.com, and Office 365). Messages sent to these domains may be delayed or deferred. A small portion of emails may still be delivered, but most are impacted.

This appears to be due to a service disruption on Microsoft’s side. Our systems are operating normally, and we are monitoring the situation closely.

  • Microsoft has resolved the issue and we have confirmed that the service has back to normal.

    Tracking Delayed stats calculation for email open events

    We are currently experiencing issue with the statistics calculation for the opened email. The opens calculation is lagging for few hours from the actual event, and this affects the display for open events.

    This issue only affects the reporting for opens that are being displayed for user interface, the telemetry data and tracking themselves are working normally. Other functionalities such as app access and email sending are not affected by this issue and should work as usual.

    We are still investigating this issue and will give an update about the progress.

  • We monitored there was volume spike for open event from the tracking data, and thus causing lag for open calculation.

    We have taken necessary action to improve our processing speed and we have not noticed any delay for open event processing.
