Email Sending Microsoft Outlook Outage

We are currently experiencing an issue affecting email deliveries to Microsoft-hosted addresses (including Outlook.com, Hotmail.com, Live.com, and Office 365). Messages sent to these domains may be delayed or deferred. A small portion of emails may still be delivered, but most are impacted.

This appears to be due to a service disruption on Microsoft’s side. Our systems are operating normally, and we are monitoring the situation closely.

  • Microsoft has resolved the issue and we have confirmed that the service has back to normal.

Tracking Google's recent downtime caused a high number of hard bounces and unsubscribes

Because of Google's downtime recently, emails sent to Gmail and Google Workspace (formerly G Suite) email addresses while they were down returned a hard bounce status.

Hard bounce in turn means that your contacts were unsubscribed since the email address was thought to be non-existent. This also means you'll also see a drop in open rates for emails sent during the outage period.

This doesn't happen to us only, it happens to every other ESP (email service provider) as well.

We are currently working on restoring your contacts that were unsubscribed because of this issue.

  • We have finished restoring your contacts who were hard bounced during Google's outage. They are now "subscribed" again inside your account.
